Kathy Dunderdale
Kathy Dunderdale is a Canadian politician who served as the 10th Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador from 2010 to 2014. She is a member of the Progressive Conservative Party and was the first woman to hold the position of Premier in the province. Dunderdale was first elected to the House of Assembly in 2003 and held various cabinet positions before becoming Premier.
During her time in office, Dunderdale focused on economic development, energy projects, and social issues. Her government was involved in significant initiatives, including the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric project. After losing the 2015 election, she announced her retirement from politics.
