Katerina Sakellaropoulou
Katerina Sakellaropoulou is a Greek politician and lawyer who has served as the President of Greece since March 2020. She is the first woman to hold this position in the country's history. Before her presidency, she was the President of the Council of State, where she focused on issues related to law and justice.
Born on May 30, 1956, in Thessaloniki, Greece, Sakellaropoulou studied law at the University of Athens and later earned a master's degree in public law from the University of Paris. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her commitment to human rights and environmental issues.
