Katavi National Park
Katavi National Park is located in western Tanzania and is one of the country's largest and least visited national parks. Covering an area of approximately 4,471 square kilometers, it features diverse landscapes, including savannahs, wetlands, and woodlands. The park is known for its rich wildlife, including large populations of hippos, crocodiles, and various species of birds.
The best time to visit Katavi National Park is during the dry season, from June to October, when animals gather around water sources. The park offers a unique safari experience, allowing visitors to witness the natural behaviors of wildlife in a relatively untouched environment.
