Kashubians
Kashubians are a West Slavic ethnic group primarily found in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of northern Poland. They speak the Kashubian language, which is closely related to Polish but has distinct dialects and vocabulary. The Kashubians have a rich cultural heritage, including traditional music, dance, and crafts that reflect their unique identity.
Historically, the Kashubians have faced challenges in preserving their language and culture, especially during periods of foreign rule. Today, efforts are being made to promote Kashubian culture through education and community initiatives, helping to ensure that this vibrant group continues to thrive in modern Poland.
