Karthik Nair is an Indian cricketer known for his right-handed batting and occasional off-spin bowling. He was born on December 6, 1990, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Nair made his debut in domestic cricket for Karnataka and gained recognition for his performances in the Ranji Trophy. In international cricket, Nair made his Test debut for the Indian national team in 2014. He is best remembered for scoring a triple century against England in 2016, becoming the second Indian to achieve this feat in Test cricket. Nair has also played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for various franchises.
