Kanda Matsuri
Kanda Matsuri is a traditional Japanese festival held in Tokyo, celebrated every two years in mid-May. It honors the deity of the Kanda Myojin Shrine, which is dedicated to Daikokuten, the god of prosperity. The festival features a vibrant parade with ornate floats, known as mikoshi, that are carried through the streets by participants dressed in traditional attire.
The festival dates back to the early 17th century and is one of the three major festivals in Tokyo, alongside Sanja Matsuri and Sanja Matsuri. Kanda Matsuri attracts thousands of visitors who come to enjoy the lively atmosphere, traditional music, and various cultural performances.
