Kamiari-zuki
Kamiari-zuki, or "the month of the gods," is a traditional Japanese term referring to October. During this month, it is believed that the gods descend from the heavens to visit the earth. This period is marked by various festivals and rituals aimed at honoring these deities and ensuring a good harvest.
In many regions of Japan, people celebrate Kamiari-zuki with special events, such as the Kamiari Festival in Mizuki, where offerings are made to the gods. The month is also associated with the changing seasons, as autumn foliage begins to appear, symbolizing the transition from summer to winter.
