Kaman K-225
The Kaman K-225 is a light utility helicopter developed by Kaman Aircraft Corporation in the 1950s. It features a unique intermeshing rotor system, which allows for improved stability and maneuverability. The K-225 was primarily designed for various roles, including transport, reconnaissance, and medical evacuation.
First flown in 1953, the K-225 was powered by a Lycoming O-540 engine, providing a maximum speed of around 100 knots. Although it was not widely produced, the helicopter contributed to the development of future models and showcased Kaman's innovative rotor technology.
