Kaliya
Kaliya is a multi-headed serpent from Hindu mythology, specifically associated with the tales of Lord Krishna. He is known for his fierce nature and his residence in the Yamuna River, where he terrorized the local inhabitants and poisoned the waters, making it dangerous for people and animals.
In the stories, Krishna confronts Kaliya to restore peace and safety to the region. After an intense battle, Krishna dances on Kaliya's many heads, ultimately subduing him. This act symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and the restoration of harmony in nature.
