KITT, or Knight Industries Two Thousand, is a fictional advanced artificial intelligence car from the 1980s television series Knight Rider. Designed by the character Wilton Knight, KITT is equipped with numerous high-tech features, including self-driving capabilities, a turbo boost function, and a sophisticated voice interface.
The car is based on a modified Pontiac Trans Am and serves as the primary mode of transportation for the show's protagonist, Michael Knight, played by David Hasselhoff.
