KFOR
The Kosovo Force (KFOR) is a NATO-led international peacekeeping force established in June 1999. Its primary mission is to ensure a safe and secure environment in Kosovo following the conflict in the late 1990s. KFOR operates under a United Nations mandate and works to maintain stability, support the development of local security forces, and facilitate humanitarian assistance.
KFOR consists of troops from various NATO member countries and partner nations, contributing to a multinational presence in the region. The force collaborates with local authorities and international organizations to promote peace, security, and the rule of law in Kosovo.
