KBO League
The KBO League, or Korean Baseball Organization League, is the top professional baseball league in South Korea. Established in 1982, it features ten teams that compete in a regular season followed by playoffs to determine the champion. The league is known for its passionate fan base and vibrant game-day atmosphere.
Games are typically played from late March to October, with each team playing 144 regular-season games. The KBO League has gained international attention, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it became one of the first leagues to resume play. Notable teams include the Doosan Bears and Samsung Lions.
