KBO
The KBO, or Korea Baseball Organization, is the top professional baseball league in South Korea. Established in 1982, it features ten teams that compete in a regular season followed by playoffs. The league is known for its passionate fan base and vibrant game-day atmosphere.
Games in the KBO are played from late March to November, with each team playing 144 regular-season games. The KBO has gained international attention, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it was one of the first leagues to resume play. Many players from the KBO have successfully transitioned to Major League Baseball (MLB) in the United States.
