KARA is a South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media in 2007. The group originally debuted with five members: Gyuri, Seungyeon, Nicole, Hara, and Jiyoung. KARA gained popularity for their catchy songs and energetic performances, contributing to the rise of the K-pop genre both in South Korea and internationally. Over the years, KARA underwent several lineup changes, with members leaving and new ones joining.
