Justice Byron White
Justice Byron White served on the U.S. Supreme Court from 1962 to 1993. Appointed by President John F. Kennedy, he was known for his moderate views and pragmatic approach to the law. White was the only Supreme Court Justice to have played in the National Football League, where he was a star running back.
Throughout his tenure, Justice White participated in significant cases involving civil rights, abortion, and free speech.
