Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located in Jupiter, Florida. Built in 1860, it stands 108 feet tall and is made of brick, painted in a distinctive red color. The lighthouse was constructed to guide ships safely through the Jupiter Inlet and has been an important navigational aid for over 160 years.
Today, the lighthouse is part of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area, which includes a museum and scenic trails. Visitors can climb the 105 steps to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.
