Junot Díaz
Junot Díaz is a Dominican-American author known for his unique storytelling style that blends English and Spanish. He was born on December 31, 1968, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and moved to the United States at a young age. Díaz gained widespread recognition for his debut collection of short stories, Drown, published in 1996, which explores themes of identity, immigration, and the immigrant experience.
His most acclaimed work, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2008.
