Junior Leagues
Junior Leagues are volunteer-based organizations for women that focus on community service, leadership development, and social responsibility. Founded in the late 19th century, these leagues aim to empower women to make a positive impact in their communities through various projects and initiatives. Members often engage in fundraising, advocacy, and educational programs.
Each Junior League operates independently, but they are united under the umbrella of the Association of Junior Leagues International. This association provides resources and support to help leagues achieve their goals. Members typically participate in training sessions to enhance their skills in leadership, project management, and community engagement.
