Julian the Apostate
Julian the Apostate was a Roman Emperor who ruled from 361 to 363 AD. He is known for his efforts to restore paganism and reduce the influence of Christianity within the Roman Empire. Born in 331 AD, he was raised as a Christian but later rejected the faith, earning him the title "Apostate."
During his reign, Julian implemented policies that favored traditional Roman religions and sought to revive ancient practices. He also promoted philosophical schools and attempted to unify various pagan sects. His reign ended when he died in battle against the Persian Empire in 363 AD.
