Jude Thaddeus
Jude Thaddeus is one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ and is often identified as the author of the Epistle of Jude in the New Testament. He is sometimes referred to as Jude of James to distinguish him from Judas Iscariot, the apostle who betrayed Jesus. Jude is traditionally recognized as the patron saint of lost causes.
In Christian tradition, Jude Thaddeus is venerated for his role in spreading the teachings of Jesus after the resurrection. His feast day is celebrated on October 28, and he is often depicted holding a club or an image of Jesus, symbolizing his dedication to faith and evangelism.
