Judas (Betrayer)
Judas Iscariot was one of the twelve original disciples of Jesus Christ. He is most famously known for betraying Jesus, which led to Jesus' arrest and crucifixion. According to the New Testament, Judas agreed to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver, identifying him to the authorities with a kiss in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Judas' actions have made him a symbol of treachery and betrayal throughout history. His story raises questions about loyalty, morality, and the consequences of one's choices. In Christian theology, Judas' betrayal is often seen as a necessary part of the divine plan for salvation.
