Judaism and Christianity
Judaism is one of the oldest monotheistic religions, centered on the belief in one God and the teachings of the Torah, which is the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. It emphasizes the importance of following God's laws and traditions, with a strong focus on community and family.
Christianity emerged from Judaism in the 1st century CE, based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, whom Christians believe is the Son of God and the Messiah. The Bible, consisting of the Old Testament (shared with Judaism) and the New Testament, is the sacred text of Christianity, guiding its followers in faith and practice.
