Joyful Heart Foundation
The Joyful Heart Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 by actress and advocate Mariska Hargitay. Its mission is to support survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse through advocacy, education, and healing programs. The foundation aims to raise awareness about these issues and promote a culture of compassion and understanding.
In addition to providing resources for survivors, the Joyful Heart Foundation works to change societal attitudes towards violence and trauma. The organization offers various initiatives, including community outreach and partnerships with other organizations, to create a safer and more supportive environment for those affected by violence.
