Joy Adamson
Joy Adamson was a British naturalist, artist, and author, best known for her work in wildlife conservation. She gained international fame for her book, Born Free, which tells the story of her efforts to raise and rehabilitate a lioness named Elsa. This book inspired a popular film and brought attention to the importance of wildlife preservation.
In addition to her writing, Adamson was an accomplished painter and created many artworks depicting African wildlife. She spent much of her life in Kenya, where she dedicated herself to protecting endangered species and promoting conservation efforts. Her legacy continues to influence wildlife conservation today.
