Joshua (Biblical)
Joshua was a prominent figure in the Bible, known for leading the Israelites into the Promised Land after the death of Moses. He was one of the twelve spies sent to scout the land of Canaan and, along with Caleb, brought back a positive report. His faith and courage made him a natural choice to succeed Moses as the leader of the Israelites.
Under Joshua's leadership, the Israelites conquered several cities, including Jericho, famous for its walls that fell after the Israelites marched around them. Joshua is also known for his strong commitment to God, urging the people to remain faithful and follow God's commandments throughout their journey.
