Josh Kovacs is a fictional character from the 2012 film Tower Heist, directed by Brett Ratner. He is portrayed by actor Ben Stiller and serves as the building manager of a luxury high-rise in New York City. Kovacs is dedicated to his job and cares deeply for the employees who work under him. In the film, Kovacs finds himself in a difficult situation when a wealthy businessman, played by Alan Alda, swindles the building staff out of their pensions. Determined to reclaim their lost money, Kovacs teams up with a group of misfits to execute a heist against the businessman.
