Josephine Hart
Josephine Hart was a British author and playwright, born on March 24, 1942, in London. She is best known for her novel "Damage," published in 1991, which explores themes of love, betrayal, and obsession. The book was later adapted into a film in 1992, starring Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche.
In addition to her writing, Hart was a prominent advocate for the arts and served as the director of the Royal Court Theatre in London. She was also involved in various literary and cultural initiatives, promoting the importance of literature and theater in society. Hart passed away on June 2, 2021.
