José Maria da Silva Paranhos Jr.
José Maria da Silva Paranhos Jr. (1845-1912) was a prominent Brazilian diplomat and politician. He is best known for his role as the Minister of Foreign Affairs during the presidency of Getúlio Vargas. Paranhos Jr. played a significant part in shaping Brazil's foreign policy and was instrumental in negotiating treaties that strengthened Brazil's international relations.
