Jon Corzine
Jon Corzine is an American businessman and politician who served as the Governor of New Jersey from 2006 to 2010. Before entering politics, he was the CEO of MF Global, a financial services firm. Corzine has a background in finance, having worked at Goldman Sachs where he became a partner.
In addition to his role as governor, Corzine was a U.S. Senator from New Jersey from 2001 to 2006. His tenure was marked by efforts to improve education and healthcare in the state. However, his time at MF Global ended in controversy when the firm filed for bankruptcy in 2011.
