Johnny Hart
Johnny Hart was an American cartoonist best known for creating the popular comic strip B.C., which debuted in 1958. The strip features a cast of prehistoric characters and humorously explores themes of life, nature, and human behavior. Hart's unique style and wit made B.C. a staple in newspapers across the United States and around the world.
In addition to B.C., Hart also created the comic strip The Wizard of Id in collaboration with fellow cartoonist Brant Parker. This strip, which began in 1964, satirizes medieval life and features a cast of quirky characters, including a bumbling king and his wise-cracking wizard. Hart's work has left a lasting impact on the world of comic art.
