John Todd (Governor)
John Todd was an American politician who served as the Governor of Kentucky from 1812 to 1816. He was born in Virginia in 1774 and moved to Kentucky in his youth, where he became involved in local politics. Todd was known for his leadership during the War of 1812, advocating for the defense of the state.
During his governorship, Todd focused on issues such as infrastructure development and education. He worked to improve the state's roads and promote public schooling. After leaving office, he continued to be active in politics until his death in 1830.
