John Stott
John Stott was a prominent British theologian, author, and Anglican priest known for his influential role in the evangelical movement. Born on April 27, 1921, he served as the rector of All Souls Church, Langham Place in London for over 25 years and was a key figure in the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity.
Stott wrote more than 50 books, including the well-known "Basic Christianity," which has been translated into multiple languages. He was also a founding member of the Langham Partnership, an organization dedicated to supporting theological education in the global church. Stott passed away on July 27, 2011, leaving a lasting legacy in Christian thought.
