John Halas
John Halas was a pioneering British animator and filmmaker, best known for his contributions to the field of animation. Born on April 16, 1912, in Budapest, Hungary, he moved to England in the 1930s. Halas co-founded Halas and Batchelor, one of the first commercial animation studios in the UK, which produced numerous animated films and television series.
