John Arne Riise
John Arne Riise is a retired Norwegian professional footballer, born on September 24, 1980. He is best known for his time as a left-back with Liverpool FC, where he played from 2001 to 2013. During his tenure, Riise won several major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League in 2005.
Riise also represented the Norwegian national team, earning over 100 caps from 2000 to 2011. Known for his powerful left foot and ability to score long-range goals, he became a fan favorite. After leaving Liverpool, he played for clubs in Italy, Spain, and his home country, Norway.
