Jirisan National Park
Jirisan National Park is located in South Korea and is the country’s first national park, established in 1967. It spans across three provinces: Jeollanam-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Jeollabuk-do. The park is known for its stunning mountain landscapes, diverse flora and fauna, and rich cultural heritage, including ancient temples and historic sites.
The park covers an area of approximately 472 square kilometers and features the highest peak in mainland South Korea, Jirisan Mountain, which stands at 1,915 meters.
