Jeogori
The jeogori is a traditional Korean garment that serves as the upper part of the hanbok, the national dress of Korea. Typically made from lightweight fabrics, it features a simple design with long sleeves and a short length that usually ends just above the waist. The jeogori is often adorned with colorful ribbons called norigae and can be worn by both men and women, although styles may vary.
Traditionally, the jeogori is fastened with a jeongjeong, a type of knot that adds elegance to the outfit. It is commonly worn during special occasions, such as weddings and festivals, and reflects the rich cultural heritage of Korea. The garment's design and colors can signify different meanings, often representing the wearer's age, marital status, or social standing.
