Jeff Healey
Jeff Healey was a Canadian musician and singer-songwriter, best known for his unique style of playing the guitar on his lap. Born on March 25, 1966, in Toronto, Ontario, he lost his sight due to a rare cancer when he was just a child. Despite this challenge, he became a talented guitarist and vocalist, blending rock, blues, and jazz in his music.
Healey gained fame in the late 1980s with his band, the Jeff Healey Band, and their hit single "Angel Eyes." He also appeared in films, including Road House, showcasing his musical talents. Healey's contributions to music earned him a dedicated fan base until his passing on March 2, 2008.
