Jebel Shams
Jebel Shams is the highest mountain in Oman, reaching an elevation of 3,009 meters (9,872 feet). It is part of the Hajar Mountains and is known for its stunning landscapes, including deep canyons and rugged cliffs. The mountain is often referred to as the "Mountain of the Sun" due to its sunny weather and clear skies. Visitors can explore various trails, including routes that lead to the famous Wadi Ghul, which is often called the "Grand Canyon of Oman."
