Jean-Pierre Beltoise
Jean-Pierre Beltoise was a French racing driver born on December 26, 1937, in Paris. He is best known for competing in the Formula One World Championship during the 1960s and early 1970s. Beltoise drove for several teams, including Matra and BRM, and achieved his first and only Grand Prix victory at the 1972 Monaco Grand Prix.
In addition to his Formula One career, Beltoise was successful in other racing disciplines, including endurance racing and motorcycle racing. After retiring from competitive racing, he became a television commentator and continued to influence the motorsport community until his passing on January 5, 2023.
