Jayabaya
Jayabaya was a prominent king of the Kediri Kingdom in East Java, Indonesia, who ruled during the 12th century. He is best known for his prophetic writings, which are collected in a work called Jangka Jayabaya. These prophecies are believed to predict significant events in Indonesian history, including the arrival of foreign powers.
In addition to his prophecies, Jayabaya is celebrated for his contributions to literature and culture in Java. His reign is often associated with prosperity and the flourishing of arts and trade. Today, he remains a legendary figure in Indonesian folklore and history.
