Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) is a system of schools in India established by the Government of India in 1986. These schools aim to provide quality education to talented students from rural areas, ensuring that they have access to the same opportunities as those in urban settings. JNVs are co-educational and offer education from class VI to XII, following the CBSE curriculum.
Each JNV is affiliated with a specific district and operates under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The schools focus on holistic development, including academics, sports, and cultural activities. Admission is based on an entrance exam, ensuring that deserving students receive a chance to excel.
