Jasmund National Park
Jasmund National Park is located on the northeastern coast of Germany, on the island of Rügen. Established in 1990, it is known for its stunning chalk cliffs, particularly the famous Königsstuhl, which rises about 118 meters above the Baltic Sea. The park covers an area of approximately 3,000 hectares and features diverse landscapes, including beech forests, meadows, and coastal areas.
The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including several bird species and unique plant life. Visitors can enjoy numerous hiking trails that offer breathtaking views of the cliffs and the sea. Jasmund National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site, recognized for its natural beauty and ecological significance.
