Japanese Space Agency
The Japanese Space Agency, officially known as JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), is responsible for Japan's space exploration and research. Established in 2003, JAXA combines the efforts of three previous organizations to advance space technology and conduct scientific research. Its missions include satellite launches, international collaborations, and human spaceflight.
JAXA has achieved significant milestones, such as the Hayabusa missions that successfully returned samples from asteroids. The agency also participates in the International Space Station (ISS) program, contributing to scientific experiments and technology development. Through its efforts, JAXA aims to enhance global understanding of space and promote peaceful uses of outer space.
