Japanese Football Association
The Japanese Football Association (JFA) is the governing body for football in Japan. Established in 1921, it oversees all aspects of the sport, including the organization of domestic leagues, national teams, and youth development programs. The JFA is responsible for promoting football at all levels, from grassroots to professional.
The association is also a member of FIFA and AFC, which allows Japan to participate in international competitions. The JFA has played a significant role in the growth of football in Japan, contributing to the success of the national team, known as the Samurai Blue, in various tournaments.
