Japan Volleyball Association
The Japan Volleyball Association (JVA) is the governing body for volleyball in Japan. Established in 1927, it oversees the development and promotion of both indoor and beach volleyball across the country. The JVA organizes national competitions, training programs, and coaching certifications to enhance the sport's popularity and skill level among players.
The association is responsible for managing Japan's national teams, including the men's and women's teams that compete in international events like the Olympics and the FIVB World Championships. The JVA also collaborates with local volleyball clubs and schools to encourage youth participation and foster talent in the sport.
