Jan Łukasiewicz

He is best known for developing the Łukasiewicz notation, a way of expressing logical formulas without the need for parentheses. This notation is significant in the field of mathematical logic and has influenced computer science and artificial intelligence.
In addition to his work in logic, Łukasiewicz contributed to the philosophy of language and the foundations of mathematics. He was a professor at the University of Warsaw and played a key role in the development of modern logic in the early 20th century. Łukasiewicz passed away on February 13, 1956.
