Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional
Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) is Indonesia's national health insurance program, established to provide affordable healthcare for all citizens. Launched in 2014, it aims to ensure that everyone has access to necessary medical services without facing financial hardship. The program is managed by Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS Kesehatan), which oversees the collection of premiums and the distribution of healthcare services.
Under JKN, participants can receive a range of medical treatments, including outpatient and inpatient care, preventive services, and essential medications. The program is funded through contributions from individuals, employers, and the government, making healthcare more equitable and accessible for the Indonesian population.
