Jakov Gotovac
Jakov Gotovac was a prominent Croatian composer and conductor, born on July 5, 1895, in Kotor, which was then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His most famous opera, Ero s onoga svijeta, premiered in 1935 and remains a significant part of the Croatian cultural repertoire.
