Jahannam
Jahannam is the Islamic concept of hell, described in the Quran as a place of punishment for those who have sinned and rejected faith. It is depicted as a fiery abyss where individuals face various forms of torment based on their actions in life. The severity of punishment is believed to correspond to the severity of one's sins.
In Islamic teachings, Jahannam serves as a warning to encourage moral behavior and adherence to the teachings of Islam. It is often contrasted with Jannah, or paradise, which represents eternal reward for the righteous. The descriptions of Jahannam emphasize the importance of accountability in the afterlife.
