Jack Brabham
Jack Brabham was an Australian racing driver and team owner, best known for his success in Formula One. Born on April 2, 1926, he became the first driver to win a championship using a car of his own design, the Brabham BT19, in 1966. Over his career, he secured three World Championships in 1959, 1960, and 1966.
Brabham's contributions to motorsport extended beyond his driving career; he was a pioneer in engineering and innovation. He founded the Brabham Racing Organisation, which produced competitive cars and helped shape the future of Formula One racing. He passed away on May 19, 2014.
